Great interest for Active House in Italy

By support of the Active House Alliance members VELUX, Rockwool and Politecnico di Milano the Active House Alliance has been presented and discussed with close to 15.000 architects and designers throughout Italy. The presentation has taken place in 19 different cities and the organized invited the Active House Alliance to give a presentation on the development on a European level.

As the confernce took place in 19 different cities, the presentations were made by different representatives of the alliance, including Prof. Marco Imperadori Politecnico di Milano, Emmanuel Valentin, Saint Gobain Glass, Mikkel Skott Olsen and Henrik Norlander VELUX A/S, Mónika Tornóczky Hungaryan Green Building Council and Kurt Emil Eriksen Active House Alliance. All were impressed about the large interest for Active House in Italy.

During the conferences many new contacts were established and will be followed up upon in the near future, among others Prof. Marco Imperadori, Politecnico di Milano pointed out that the alliance should strengthen the focus on buildings in hot climate as it is a forgotten and upcoming issue for sustainable buildings.
