Active House at CADE2019 Forum in Shanghai

On the morning of November 6, 2019, at the CADE2019 Forum in Shanghai, Active House hosted a salon with the theme “Building is People-oriented – Active House Research and Practice”.

The salon was hosted by Liu Enfang, the chief architect of Shanghai Architectural Design and Research Institute. Among the guests speakers were representatives from 5 leading coffee shops that were built on the principles of Active House: comfort, environment, and energy.

The discussion brought a unique salon experience to the participants and provided them with an international perspective and a diverse communication platform to promote the foundation of China’s healthy buildings and energy-efficient buildings.

The speakers advocated for the return of people-oriented architectural design and discussed the cutting-edge concepts and design points of Active House.
