YRSB22 Extends their call for abstracts until 15 June 2021
The fourth iiSBE Forum of Young Researchers in Sustainable Building 2022 (YRSB22), which be held on 4 July 2022 in Prague, Czech Republic, an interesting event for PhD students held in the heart of Europe.
The extended date for abstracts submission is 15 June 2021. Until this date, you can still submit your abstract (up to 150 words in English) via the CESB22&YRSB22 conference electronic system accessible at https://www.conftool.com/cesb22.
The event is focused on actual PhD research development in the field of sustainable building. The mission of the conference is to bring young doctoral researchers in sustainable building together to share research outcomes, discuss and get feedback from their colleagues, along with their participation in the peer-review process of the conference.
The YRSB topics are:
- Adapting buildings to climatic goals
- Innovative materials, products and systems for sustainable buildings
- Integration of principles of the circular economy into the building design process
- Decision-support tools and assessment methods for the sustainable built environment
- Sustainable retrofitting of existing buildings
- Sustainable urban development
Abstract submission
Abstract of up to 150 words in English shall be submitted electronically using the CESB22&YRSB22 conference electronic system accessible at https://www.conftool.com/cesb22 until 15 June 2021.
Information about the acceptance of abstracts and about the preparation of final papers will be given by 15 July 2021. The deadline for the full paper submission will be 1 October 2021. All full papers accepted by the Scientific Committee and presented at the Forum will be published in the electronic proceedings.
Before final acceptance for presentation at the Forum and for publication in the proceedings, all submitted full papers will be peer-reviewed. As always, the peer-review will be done by the YRSB22 authors. Each author will get one full paper within the same topic group and will prepare the review. This will bring the young researchers another important experience. Submissions will be divided into oral and poster presentations.
Simultaneously with the YRSB22 Forum, Central Europe towards Sustainable Building 2022 (CESB22) conference will take place on July 4–6, 2022 at the same location. The YRSB22 Forum active participants will be allowed to visit the CESB22 conference for a special registration fee, including the coffee breaks and lunches, with the possibility to participate in social events, technical tours and satellite events.
