National Bureau of Environmental Standards and Ratings (NBESR) is a Russian based not-for-profit organisation focused on developing a voluntary production certification system in the construction and finishing materials sector. It is comprised of a partnership of research, technical specialists and representatives of environmental protection and public organisations. The standards developed by the Bureau are meant to provide guidelines to those markets the government and civic regulation of which does not guarantee product safety for man and the environment.
