The third Active House symposium will be held on Wednesday June 20, during the European Energy Week in Brussels. It will be a good opportunity for you to meet the Active House Alliance members as well as other stakeholders in Active House and low energy development. We therefore cordially invite you to attend our symposium.
The focus will be on sustainable city development and provide an update on Active House and the development of Near to Zero Energy buildings. The program consists of two plenary sessions. The first plenary session focuses on sustainable city development, with a debate on the development, experience and the interaction between buildings and the city energy system. The second plenary session focuses on the development of Active Houses and sustainable buildings, and specifically on the experience and knowledge from existing labeling schemes. Both sessions will be moderated by Jacki Davis, who also moderated our two first Active House Symposiums. Jackie Davis will drive the debate and secure that you will have the opportunity for a panel discussion with the speakers. In the pdf you will find an overview of the draft of the program.
As usual we would like to support the networking between participants and therefore you are invited to a walking lunch before the symposium as well as a cocktail party afterwards. This years symposium is sponsored by Grundfos, one of the founding members of the Active House Alliance.
